Asansol railway division is one of the four railway divisions under the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway zone of the Indian Railways.[1] It was formed in 1925 and its headquarters is located in Asansol in West Bengal, India. Currently[when?] it is the highest revenue generating division of Eastern Railways.
Sr DEE (General) is responsible for electricity distribution to all the residential and commercial establishments at railways colonies and station vendors coming under Asansol division.
